My name is Angelo Roberto Turiano #202, son of Cosimo #169, son of Giovanni #44, son of Angelo #24, son of Giovanni #8, son of Demetrio #3, son of Domenico #1.
I was born in Reggio Calabria on May the15th, 1966 by Adelina Cogliandro #177, about 3 hours after the death of my granfather Pasquale Cogliandro, broken off by an infarct while he was on the stand at the soccer stadium waiting for the match of Reggina, some minutes before it started.
I have wonderful memories about my childhood spent between my dear one's love and my young friends met at "u Cumbentu", as S. Francesco's Church in Sbarre Centrali is known.
When i was ten my family moved to Romano di Lombardia, a 12.000 people town in Bergamo's province (Lombardia), where my parents got work. My mother, she has retired few years ago, was a teacher in a kindergarten and my father "buonanima" died in 1997 was chief accountant in different school departments in the province of Bergamo.
In 1984 I got my diploma as a non-graduate engineer in Treviglio (BG). In 1986 my parents bought the home and we moved where I live now, in Bergamo. On September 1987 I left home for 15 mounthes to pay my due to Army service; I was a second-liutenant in supply and transport military department and I commanded the "regeneration and repairs" platoon of the
1° Btg. Fant. Mot. (motorized infantry battalion) "S. Giusto" in Trieste, after a 5 mounthes course in Rome.
Un mounth before leaving, I met Luana #251; we married in 1995 and had Adelina #253 in 1999.
In 1989, some mounthes after being back from military service, I started working in the planning department of Vamatex in Villa di Serio (BG), a little factory skilled in making looms; since 1992 I've been working as officer in municipal police, first in Trescore Balneario (BG) then back again in Villa di Serio and now, I work for Valseriana Municipal Police that is an association of 9 towns' police services which headquarter is in Nembro (5 miles far from Bergamo). I'm in the directional staff and I'm in charge of planning and road services.
What about my future? I like my work; maybe in a few year I could become the Director of the association. If God allows some more children and then, maybe, back to Reggio .... let's see ...
